To celebrate the coming of Autumn in all its Scottish glory, we've an awesome evening presented by our old friend Richard Bray – author, winemaker, whisky nut and Boston Red Sox fan – a tasting of six exciting Scottish Single Malts followed by Venison Stew with Herb Dumplings, Pureed Potatoes and Mashed Swede (vegan alternative available)

When? Weds 14th October from 7pm to 10pm

Where? Charlie's Drinks Store, 61 Stoke Newington Church Street, London N16 0AR

What are we tasting? A 25ml pour of the following:

Lowlands - Daftmill 15yo, first release, distillery bottling

Highlands - Ardnamurchan 10yo, first release, distillery bottling 

Islands - Highland Park, single cask, independent bottling 

Speyside – Auchroisk, single cask, independent bottling

Campbeltown – Springbank, 12yo, cask Strength

Islay – Ardbeg, 1st release, 19yo

Food? Venison Stew with Herb Dumplings, Pureed Potatoes and Mashed Swede (vegan alternative available)

Tickets: £60 for the whisky tasting and dinner. Wine available to buy to accompany the dinner
