Hugo Mendes is making some of Portugal's most exciting wines in the Lisboa region, working in a low intervention, hands off style with local grape varieties to make beautifully pure, lithe wines that are a pleasure to drink. This is made with local variety Castelao and it's light bodied and ethereal with bags of freshness and drinkability.
