Maison Ventenac make excellent, organic wines in Cabardès in the Languedoc, picking early to ensure maximum freshness and acidity and forgoing the use of any oak. This is Rolle or Vermentino from high altitude vineyards on limestone soils, fermented in stainless steel. A lovely mix of ripe pear, lemon peel and a subtle white flower floral note here.
