Californian Wine Tasting & Dinner with Alex from Birichino - Wednesday 10th June 7pm to 10pm

Join Alex Krause, co-founder of Birichino in Santa Cruz, California, for a brilliant evening of wine, dinner and chat. A long-time favourite, Birichino produce supremely balanced wines from mainly 19th and early 20th century meticulously farmed vineyards in marine-influenced climates. The focus is on small-production, native yeast fermentations, minimal intervention, use of stainless steel and neutral barrels and a lack of filtration, with the aim of producing "delicious wines that give pleasure, revitalize, and revive"!

Alex will present a tasting of 6 of his stunning wines as well as take us through his and co-founder John Locke's decades of wine-making in California, France, Italy and beyond and how they founded Birichino in 2008. We'll then enjoy dinner with more of the wines from the tasting available to buy by the glass or bottle.
