Tempranillo Grenache 2023, Ministry of Clouds, McLaren Vale

Ministry of Clouds wines are excellent across the range, all the wines have lovely freshness but still feel undeniably Australlian. This is their homage to the legendary reds of Northern Spain, but it crackles with a lovely energy to it - light red fruit tones than the robust wines of Rioja, think pomegranate, red cherry and a savoury stony note. Crying out for BBQ'd lamb chops.
