Syrah 2023, Sigurd, Barossa Valley

Sigurd are one of the exciting new(ish) names in Australia at the moment, trying to make wines with balance and poise. So much so that they're calling this a Syrah rather than Shiraz, and it makes sense too, as this is refined and coiled with dark fruit, lovely refreshing acidity and plenty of savoury pepperiness.
