Garnacha 'Gloria S' 2021, Ver Sacrum

From an exciting collective of viticultors/winemakers based in Lujan de Cuyo, on a quest to bring back mediterranean varieties such as Grenache, Mourvedre, Roussanne, Teroldego, Syrah, Mencia and more!

Grenache, semi-carbonic maceration for 4 days, 50% whole bunch; wild yeast fermentation in 500lt French used oak and 400lt clay amphorae for 18 days with no skin contact. Aged in a combination of amphorae and smaller, used French oak casks for 18 months, followed by 20 months in bottle. Fresh red cherries, subtle candied fruit, nice firm tannins and astounding length.
