Finest Reserve NV, Quinta do Vale Meao

A fantastic example of single estate port wine. Traditionally made using foot-treading in granit lagars before fortification. They vinify by parcel and grape variety, before ageing for a short period in large, old oak. The final wine is an expert blend from across different parcels and vintages, bringing together grape varieties and soil-types to fully represent the character of the whole estate. Its dark, concentrated fruit character comes from perfectly ripe grapes grown in the warmer Douro Superior.
