Dao Single Estate Branco 2023, Quinta das Maias

In the foothills of the Serra de Estrela mountain range, Quinta das Maias was first planted in 1893. Renowned for its special location and wild, rugged terroir. The name of the estate derives from the Portuguese word for the month of May, which is when the Weaver's Broom (Maia) flowers here, painting the hillside yellow. This zingy, fresh and mouthwatering but with a lovely creamy core texture. Top wine.
