Cornas 2017, Mark Haisma

Mark Haisma is a long term friend of Charlie's, and thus a friend of the shop, and we're delighted to have got hold of some library releases of his wines! He's best known, having worked at Yarra Yering for a decade, for his beautifully pure Burgundies, but he also makes wines in Rhone. This is drinking beautifully - a fresh and vibrant vintage, bags of brambly acidity giving it the stuffing to age brilliantly, not to mention the concentration of the 60 year old vines. Top wine and a proper fine wine bargain.
