Condrieu 'La Petite Cote' 2024, Yves Cuilleron

A top star domaine. Yves Cuilleron took over the reins as the 4^th generation vigneron in 1987. He is based in Chavanay, just south of Condrieu and has built up a formidable reputation in recent years. His wines have a lovely balance of ripeness and richness (it's a warm part of the world), but with a sense of freshness that keeps them nicely in check. This is a delicious Viognier with all the peach, apricot, nougat and white flowers you'd expect, with a ginger-y spice and nice whack of citrus oil. Top white wine.
