Colli Tortonesi Freisa 'Braghe' 2023, Claudio Mariotto

Freisa is an underrated red grape variety that makes deliciously fresh wines with sweet red berry fruit without the same ripping tannins that can define Nebbiolo. This is plush and juicy with raspberry, dark cherry and blackberry fruit and a softly herbaceous brambly edge to it.
