Mas de Daumas Gassac is often thought of as the Grand Cru producer of the Languedoc and was founded in 1974 by Aimé & Véronique Guibert. Their property is in a valley which benefits from the nearby sea and mountains so they have the ability to make fresh wines with elegance. They work with over 40 different varieties across their forest covered estate, and work in a low-intervention way, with organic farming, wild yeast ferments and low sulphur additions to make wines with purity and freshness. This is their juicy, bright, entry level red that is deliciously easy to drink and ridiculously good value for money.
