Classic Cuvee 'Culver' NV, Langham Wine Estate

Langham is one of the finest English producers around - their sparklers are very much the benchmark for quality and are on the less eye-watering side of current prices! They make low-intervention, top quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier based wines from their large 34 hectare vineyard on Crawthorne Farm, north-east of Dorchester in rural Dorset. Culver is their Pinot Noir dominant blend, named after the cretaceous chalk strata the vines are planted into. Beautifully vivid raspberry and redcurrant fruits here with lemon posset and ginger notes interwoven. Seriously good fizz.
