Classic Cuvee 'Corallian' NV, Langham Wine Estate

Langham is one of the finest English producers around - their sparklers are very much the benchmark for quality and are on the less eye-watering side of current prices! They make low-intervention, top quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier based wines from their large 34 hectare vineyard on Crawthorne Farm, north-east of Dorchester in rural Dorset. This is their Chardonnay-dominant blend, named after the coral-rich limestone rock strata 300m below the vineyard. Beautifully pure, racy, crystalline citrus fruits here and a chalky texture - awesome wine!
