Chardonnay 'The Agnes' 2024, Crystallum

Crystallum is a small Hemel-en-Aarde winery, established in 2007 by brothers Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson. Their father, Peter, was a pioneer in the production of cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at Bouchard Finlayson, so after university they created their own label. They're now considered one of the country's finest producers and have helped spearhead the "new wave" of quality, terroir-focused producers. This is a delicious Chardonnay with both ripeness and bags of freshness, fresh lemon, oatmeal and ginger all combining.
