Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2023, Agnes Gleizes

Agnès Gleizes is a rising star of the Chablis region, making delicious, fine and expressive wines in the classical style. Currently, Agnès with husband Cyril Gautheron are at the head of Domaine Gautheron, so they're definitely Chablis movers and shakers. The Fourchaume 1er Cru is located on the right bank, near the Grand Cru sites. It's ripe, floral, a little creamy and very expressive with lemon and lemon peel characters and a salty tinge on the finish.
